HAZARD ENCLOSURE INTEGRITY TESTING

You probably have a fire suppression system in place to protect your mission critical equipment from fire and you know the conditions under which the system works. On discharge, the agent has to be retained for a minimum of 10 minutes to prevent re-ignition before safety and fire personnel arrive to take control. If the enclosure is not sufficiently air tight, the agent will leak out within a few minutes of discharging and this can cause the fire to re-ignite immediately, thereby damaging your equipment and causing you untold inconvenience, hardship and financial loss.

NFPA 2001 requires an enclosure integrity test to assure an adequate clean agent retention time. This test ought to be carried out prior to an installation of the fire suppression system. It is also recommended that you test your enclosure regularly (even after installation) to assure the integrity of the enclosure as cracks and leakages often develop over time, which could cause the fire suppression system not to perform as required.

ANADAL TECH will provide you with the enclosure integrity testing required for your fire suppression system. We have the state-of-the-art equipment necessary for carrying out these tests.
